Terms of Use

Last updated 12 September 2026 · The agreement between you and Kepper

By opening a Kepper wallet you accept these terms. They cover what we do for you, what we ask of you, and what happens when something goes wrong. Plain language, no traps — but they are binding.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18, resident in Nigeria, and able to complete identity verification. One wallet per person. You agree the information you give us is true and that you will keep it current.

Your wallet

Your Kepper wallet holds funds you add to it and is operated with our licensed banking partners. Balances are yours; we do not lend them out. Keep your device, PIN and biometrics private — activity authenticated with them is treated as yours.

Transfers & limits

You are responsible for the account details you enter. Confirm the recipient name we show you before approving a transfer — a completed transfer to the wrong account cannot be reversed by us unilaterally, though we will help you pursue a recall.

Spend limits you set are enforced by Kepper. Regulatory and partner limits also apply and may change without notice where the law requires it.

Virtual card

Virtual cards are issued by our card partner and funded from your wallet balance. You may freeze or close a card at any time. Merchant disputes follow the card scheme's chargeback rules and timelines; we will file on your behalf where the claim is valid.

Insights & budgets

Categories, budget reads, spend limits, PAYE estimates and goals are informational tools. They are generated from your wallet activity and the profile you provide, and they are not financial, tax or legal advice. See the Disclaimer.

Acceptable use

Do not use Kepper for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, gambling where prohibited, or any unlawful purpose; do not impersonate another person; do not attempt to probe, scrape or disrupt the service. We may freeze or close a wallet that we reasonably believe is being used this way, and report it where we must.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability — partner outages, network failures and maintenance happen. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you take based on the insights. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by Nigerian law.

Closing your account

You can close your wallet at any time once the balance is zero and no transfer is pending. We may close it with notice, or immediately where the law or a risk finding requires. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
