Overview
Kepper (“we”, “us”, “our”) helps you see, understand and stay in control of your money across every account you own. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Kepper mobile app and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address, phone number and the password or passcode you set.
- Your money profile — the answers you give during onboarding about income, spending habits, savings goals, bills and risk comfort.
- Support messages — anything you send us when you contact support.
Information from your linked accounts
- Balances and transactions from the banks and wallets you choose to link, retrieved on a read-only basis.
- Account metadata such as the bank name, currency, and the last four digits of the account number.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — device type, operating system, app version and basic in-app activity that helps us keep Kepper reliable.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Show your balances, cashflow, spending limits and tax breakdown across every linked account.
- Tailor your insights, budgets and goals to how you actually manage money.
- Keep your account secure and detect suspicious activity.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Improve and maintain the app's performance and reliability.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Bank connections
When you link a bank or wallet, Kepper connects through regulated account-information services using read-only access. This means Kepper can retrieve your balances and transactions to display them back to you, but it cannot move, withdraw or spend your money.
You can disconnect any linked account from within the app at any time. Doing so stops Kepper from retrieving new data from that account.
Storage & security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using bank-grade standards. Access is unlocked on your device with Face ID or your device passcode. We apply strict internal access controls so that staff cannot browse your financial data.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and to limit what we hold to what is genuinely needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
- Export a copy of your data.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You can also delete your account directly in the app, or submit a request from our account deletion page.
Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal and financial data, except where we are required to retain certain records to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Children
Kepper is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
